So I decided to take a week away from paid work and focus on my own projects, in the hopes that my creations would lead to more paying jobs.Įverything was created within After Effects and Cinema 4D to create a few 2D elements and the 3D DNA string. I really wanted to get into a different area of design and took a keen interest in screen graphics for film and FUI. I have been freelancing for the last 5 years, primarily creating end titles for trailers and working on some film title sequences. How did you get involved this cool project? It was a personal project that took me a 5 days to create – from blank screen to upload. I had created some projects prior to this one, on each occasion I had tried something different and kept on going. The goal of the project was to develop my skills and experience within the area of FUI design. The team at FxFactory caught up with Nawaz and asked him about what went into creating this amazing video.
Recently, Nawaz completed a visually stunning FUI design (fantasy user interface), taking inspiration from the FUIs that appeared in the hit film Avengers Age of Ultron. For the past 10 years he has collaborated with a range of high profile clients and worked with big brands creating graphics for numerous feature film trailers, TV spots and other digital formats.
